Design Brief

Robots are around us. Industrial manufacturing is a precursor for robot development and implementation. Thousands of robots operate in factories worldwide, yet our communication with them is still precarious.
So...

I explored the design of a future wearable intranet. This concept aims to provide seamless communication with the company's robotic workforce.

Considerations

Automated factories are hectic but highly structured environments. The trend is for employees to transition from manual to cognitive tasks of development or supervision. My target user is a worker in this context who needs a comfortable tool to have an overview of the machines and intervene when necessary.

Disclaimer: for this quick experimentation I based my design on what I learned through field observation. I worked at a robotized factory that manufactures for Ford Motor as well as a robot development company.

I started looking for fitting inspiration.

Style Guide

Then I defined further the style for normal and dark modes.
